What started as an exploration in web design became the codifying of a passion—and, somewhere along the way, a new life direction. Tiny Kitchen is hanging in a liminal state these days: micromanaging magazine editor by day, green culinary student by night; confident urban hostess for some occasions, fledgling professional caterer for others.

But Tiny Kitchen's key principles haven't changed: Small spaces require imagination, invention and ingenuity; culinary intuition is well and good, but obsessive research is an awful lot of fun; and there's nothing better in this world than crowding all your friends into the kitchen for food you love.
